Experience thrills as the train travels through the market, visit a tree temple, feed small monkeys and watch eager shell collectors. Pick up from the hotel in Bangkok by our local tour guide and driver will be at time 07.30. Leave the city and drive to Samut Songkram Province.
Here visit the so called Train Market. which does exist a long time before the train line was planned. It is amazing to watch stall holders pulling back their awnings, moving their food stalls and people moving off the walkway through the center of the market, which just happens to be the railway line. Once the train has passed, it takes just a few seconds and stalls are back in place and business back to normal.
Next stop will be at the impressive temple of Wat Bank Kung. From the traditional fishing village Klong Kone take a long tail boat to a mangrove plantation. On route chance to feed monkeys and observe the locals picking sea shells out of the ocean.
Then enjoy your seafood lunch at Home Krateng on sea.
Afterwards continue to Wat Satthatam, made of wood and consist of many inlaid mother of shell. Later take a stroll over the seafood market of Don Hoi Lot. And then it is time to return to the hotel in Bangkok. You will be back by late afternoon.
